Inspiration for the whole community
The Board and Management of the Seawinds Community Hub acknowledges that it stands on the land of the Bunurong/Boon Wurrung people, the Traditional Custodians of this land. We pay our respects to them, their culture and their elders, past, present and emerging.

Board Members – seeking Expression of Interest
The Seawinds Community Hub Board are looking for a new Chairperson and a Treasurer and we are hoping that a member of your practice would be interested in joining the Board in either of these roles or a general board member.
Our management and support team consists of a Centre Manager, and Manager of the Early Learning Centre (providing both kindergarten and childcare) with support provided by a receptionist /admin assistant and bookkeeper.
A detailed knowledge of community hubs is not necessary; however, a sense of community service would be advantageous. These positions would expose your practice to the community as well as expanding the members own range of contacts.
The positions are honorary and monthly Board meetings are held on a Tuesday after working hours. Previous Board experience would be useful, our Board manual will provide you with an overview of the organisation and includes our policies and procedure and in addition Seawinds will arrange seminars on governance issues.
If you are interested in joining the Seawinds Board please contact Robert Barnes, Deputy Chair on 0412 548 920 / rwbarnes12@gmail.com.
